Samaritan Farm
Samaritan Farm is a vital part of our commitment to food justice, producing 27,000 pounds of organic produce annually for our free Samaritan Cafe and Market. We believe that providing healthy, nutritious food to our neighbors is essential to creating a fair and just community.

We also grow fresh flowers and arrange bouquets every week for our Cafe! Want locally grown flowers in your own home? You can email mthomas@samcc.org to sign up for our flower CSA to help support our mission.
The farm also offers a rewarding volunteer opportunity for large groups, allowing them to make a tangible impact on the lives of those in need. Our 1.5 acres of grow space includes a greenhouse and two growing tunnels for year-round harvests.
How to Help
Our garden and volunteers need bagged peat, compost, soil, mulch, two-wheeled wheelbarrows, rakes, shovels, and hand tools.

At the Samaritan Community Center, we believe that our client families should not just have access to food but it should be healthy food of high quality. Those living on fixed or limited incomes often have to purchase the least expensive food items they can find, and these food items are typically not fresh vegetables and fruit.
