Paying Off Bank Loans for the Farm + Springdale Center
The Springdale Center meets a real and growing need in Washington County. Every week, neighbors walk through our doors looking for food, support, dignity, and a place to begin again.
Paying off the remaining loan for the Springdale Center and the Rogers Farm improvements will free up vital resources to go back into Samaritan’s programs at both locations. We take fiscal responsibility seriously, ensuring every dollar entrusted to us helps our neighbors build a stronger future.
$200,000 Springdale Parking Expansion
Expanding Springdale Parking to increase Access + Safety
As Samaritan’s work in Springdale continues to grow, access matters. More neighbors are coming for help, and most days the parking lot is overflowing. Limited parking is a real barrier for families tight on time and money.
Expanding parking at this Center will make it easier and safer for neighbors, volunteers, staff, and community partners to use the building. It’s a practical improvement with a deeply human purpose; making sure people can reach the help they need when they need it.
$500,000 Emergency Fund
Rebuilding Our Safety Net to ensure Hope for Generations
When the Rogers Shop took a direct hit from the 2024 tornado and was closed for three months, Samaritan’s emergency fund allowed us to continue serving our neighbors quickly and without interruption. However, the tornado all but wiped out our emergency fund.
As Arkansas faces severe cuts to the SNAP program in the months ahead, the number of families needing assistance with food will increase dramatically beyond our normal operating budget. Rebuilding this fund helps Samaritan be fully prepared to meet that need.

Samaritan Community Center has always believed that hope should be shared in practical ways. A hot meal. A full pantry. A safe place to ask for help. A community ready to serve the next family who walks through the door.
The Hope Has a Home campaign will strengthen Samaritan at a pivotal moment by paying off the Springdale Center, expanding critically needed parking, and rebuilding financial reserves.
