Programs Overview

Help us ensure hungry children in NWA do not suffer food insecurity. SnackPacks provide healthy snacks to school children on Fridays to ensure they have something to eat on weekends.

Since 1999 the Samaritan Community Center has provided thousands of free backpacks filled with grade-appropriate school supplies to area children, going into grades K-12, in late summer before the start of the new school year.

SCC now operates two nonprofit resale stores, called Samaritan Shops, that are open to the public and sell gently used clothing, household items and furniture.

Samaritan Café is open to the general public in both our Rogers and Springdale centers and serves FREE hot meals in a restaurant-style setting.

In response to the growing crisis and connection between poverty and obesity, Samaritan Market has developed a Healthy Foods Initiative that focuses on improving the overall nutritional quality of the food available within the Market.

The fresh produce harvested from Samaritan Garden is cooked and served in our Cafes, and available to clients who shop our Market food pantries in both Rogers and Springdale.

This program that deals with our client advocacy and counseling needs so that we can encourage all who enter our doors to find hope and experience positive life change.

Serving uninsured adults who cannot afford to purchase dental care, our clinic utilizes both volunteer and staff dentists, hygienists and oral surgeons to provide a full range of dental services to our patients.
